Scoring help
Use an event’s Results link for published standings. This guide explains the terms shown there; the notice of race and sailing instructions remain the authority for that event.
How published results are assembled
- Organisers record entries, races, finishes, and scoring decisions for their event.
- The scoring engine calculates race and series standings from those records.
- Published results can change when an organiser corrects data or applies a decision.
A missing entry list, result, or export means it has not been made available on that event page.
Corrected time
Handicap fleets compare corrected time rather than elapsed time. PHRF, IRC, and ORC calculations use the rating information and method recorded for that race.
Series standings
Race points roll into a series total. Where configured, the results page identifies a dropped score and the net total used for place.
Codes and adjustments
A code such as OCS, DNF, DSQ, or RDG records the result or decision for that race. See the reference for application defaults.
Source record
Use the event page for its available entries, result tables, and CSV exports. Questions about a result belong with that event’s organiser.
