Scoring rules reference
These are application calculation references. An event’s notice of race, sailing instructions, and protest decisions control its published result.
PHRF time on time
The factor uses the event’s A and B coefficients; the event chooses those values.
PHRF time on distance
D is course distance in nautical miles. Use the published course and method for the event.
IRC and ORC
Use the certificate and method selected for the race. A displayed calculation is not a substitute for event instructions.
Score codes
The table lists application defaults. A hearing, sailing instruction, or organiser decision can set the applicable score.
